Where We Mix
Our mixing sessions take place in kitchens, community centers, church halls, and school cafeterias across the DMV. We don’t have a permanent location, we go where the community is.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can volunteer?
Any high school student (grades 9–12) in the DMV area. Parents and adult community members are also welcome as chaperones and drivers.
Do I need any experience?
None at all. We provide all ingredients, supplies, and instructions at every session. Just show up ready to help.
Do volunteers receive community service hours?
Yes. We provide documentation for school service-hour requirements. Let us know what your school needs and we’ll make sure you’re covered.
What kind of ingredients do you accept?
Shelf-stable staples like oats, nuts, dried fruit, seeds, honey, and protein powder. We don’t accept perishable items. Reach out to coordinate a drop-off.
Can my school or youth group attend a session?
Absolutely. We work with teachers and group leaders to schedule sessions that fit your group size and calendar. Contact us to set one up.
Where do the mixes go?
Directly to shelter and food pantry partners across the DMV. Every batch is delivered within days of being mixed.
